What is Osteopathy?
Despite what you might think, it’s more than just ‘bones’…
In simple terms, osteopathy is often considered a holistic hybrid of physiotherapy and chiropractic techniques, aimed at improving the overall health and well-being of clients.
We utilise a range of manual therapy techniques like soft tissue massage and joint mobilisation, along with exercise prescription and potentially some manipulations to achieve a positive improvement in pain levels and/or mobility to empower you to restart your fitness goals.
Our goal is to help reduce or even eliminate the symptoms of pain you’re experiencing, while also discovering the causes and create a plan to change those potential factors in your life.
Our approach is non-invasive, encourages drug-free healing where possible and empathetic, while remaining result driven.
What happens in an Osteopathy treatment?
